Kelly and I also recently found out that we are expecting! It was hard to believe at first since we had been trying for so long, but we are very excited! We wanted to wait to tell the family after we had gone to the doctor for the first time to make sure everything looked good but we were so excited we couldn't wait. Everyone is so excited for us. For Kelly's parents it will be their second grandchild, and for my parents it will be their fourth. My parents are very excited to have a grandchild that will be close enough to visit often.
At our first doctor's appointment we saw the little one for the first time. The feeling was so amazing and we fell in love immediately! The doctor took measurements and said everything looked good.

(April 15, 2011)At our second doctor's appointment we got to hear the heartbeat for the first time. It was very healthy and beating at 160 beats per minute! The baby looked so much bigger than the first time, although it's still so small.

We also got to see the baby's alien-like face, and its arms were stretched up above its head. Kelly just knows that it's a boy because the baby sits just like him :).

(May 13, 2011)We look forward to each doctor's appointment, mainly to make sure everything is looking good and going smoothly, but also to see our little one. We can't wait to hold it in our arms one day! The doctor gave us a due date of November 8, 2011 which turns out to be the day that Kelly proposed to me 3 years ago. It will be a good day to have a baby.
Today I am at 15 weeks and 3 days so we are hoping to find out whether it's a boy or girl at our next visit!
